Terms of service

These terms govern XUMU AIR, the service at air.xumu.ai operated by XUMU ("we", "us"). By ordering a Reading, Watch, Watch Pro or Programme you agree to them. If you have a separately signed agreement with us, that agreement wins where they differ.

What the service is

We measure how public AI engines describe your company, check their answers against facts you confirm, report the findings, and recommend and (on some plans) implement fixes. Fixes work through your own website, your own profiles and correction requests to third parties. We never attempt to manipulate, deceive or game AI engines, and we never guarantee what any engine will say — no one can. We guarantee the work: it is done as described, measured, and reported honestly.

Orders, fees and payment

Current pricing is shown on the plans page at the time of order. Orders placed through the site are requests; they are confirmed by email and invoiced. Invoices are payable by bank transfer within 14 days, and work starts when payment arrives. No payment is taken on the site today. The Reading is a one-off fee including three months of Watch; Watch and Watch Pro have a 6-month minimum term and then run month to month until cancelled with 30 days' notice. Fees are exclusive of any applicable taxes.

Your part

The readings are checked against facts you confirm. You're responsible for the accuracy of what you confirm and for having the right to give us any access you give us. On Programme, implementing fixes needs your approvals and access as described when you join.

Confidentiality and results

Your readings, errors and reports are private to you and us. We never publish a client's results without permission. Aggregated, non-identifying learnings (for example, how often engines confuse organisations in general) may inform our work.

Intellectual property

Reports, fix kits and content we write for you are yours to use once the related invoice is paid. Our methods, software and question libraries remain ours.

Liability

We're liable for doing the work with reasonable skill and care. We're not liable for what third-party AI engines say or do, for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit. Our total liability for a plan is capped at the fees you paid for it in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that can't legally be limited.

Ending the service

You can cancel after any minimum term with 30 days' notice. We can suspend or end the service for non-payment or misuse, with notice. On ending, we deliver what's been paid for and, on request, delete your data as described in the privacy policy.
